There's so much about me I'm still learning that it would be cheating to try to sum everything up in a paragraph. I'll offer this for now: I suppose I'm a rather gentle soul. Having lived a well-rounded life, I feel confident enough that no matter where the next road takes me, I will not fall on my face. I like attention, but only when I know I can put on a worthy show. I'm low maintenance and self-sufficient, yet I crave the company of others. I'm fairly happy in my own skin, yet I often wonder if it's quite good enough for others. I'm lazy beyond words and I don't do numbers ~ they exhaust me. Nostalgia can bring out the best in me. I consider writing and music my lifelines. I can beat myself up better than most but I also recover quite nicely. I treasure my daughter and my husband. I am in awe of the ocean, and can't seem to keep myself too distant from it yet I do not swim. Is this too much for a profile?

Its good to hear you are better even if you're still a little stiff.
I think its age myself. I wake up every morning and have to shake off the vigor mortise and explain to my body i am still alive.
I watched the video and you're ready for Vegas but I think you have to be an old geezer to sing there so you may have to wait abother 13 years for a shot.

What a fun video! You are very brave but also very talented. Did you used to sing? I can't sing with my head in a bucket...never have been able to, so always admire those who can. Keep up the spirit as mind over matter is essential, because eventually it doesn't matter!

Wow... that's some voice you have there. I'm thinking they should be raising the age requirements on American Idol. :-) Wouldn't we oldies but goodies be able to show them a thing or two. :-)

Nicely done, but to be complete, you really ought to have included the cheesy moves this song and others of its genre are traditionally accompanied by. Maybe you can do a re-take swiveling those hips and twinkling your toes?
